The Wagon
The Wagon is our charming gypsy caravan, and provides a cosy retreat for two. It features a wood-fired hot tub crafted from a Victorian cast iron water trough. You can soak in the tub under the stars in your private woodland clearing, sitting in the hot tub watching the stars in your secluded woodland clearing will shake off the city blues.
The Wagon is situated in our ancient woods a little way up from the Cabin and Safari Tent, around a 5 minute walk from the carpark. Farm map https://dernwoodfarm.co.uk/farm-map/ . There is a firepit with grill and dutch oven and seating outside and a hammock slung between two hornbeam trees.
All our glamping spaces let you enjoy the magic of the woods without the hard work — proper beds, cosy interiors, and your own private space.
If you’re craving nature without compromise, glamping at Dernwood Farm is the easiest way to arrive, unpack, and switch off. Beds are made up, and everything is ready for your arrival — just pack clothes, food, and a sense of adventure. The space is thoughtfully spaced for privacy, while still feeling part of the woodland
Inside there is U-shaped seating that converts down to a full size double bed, kitchen area with a 1 ring cast iron gas hob, cold running water, and cosy wood burner. It is fully equipped with all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for 2 people. It is totally off grid so lit with solar lights and oil lamps. A cool box is provided plus all bedding and linen.
Glamping is bookable for 2 or 3 nights on weekends, and 2, 3 or 4 nights Monday to Thursday.
