Tree Tent & Hammock Camping

We have noticed over the last few years people asking for areas for hammocks so we have set aside a 2 acre area of our ancient woodland for tree tents & hammocks, situated in between The Encampment and The Camping Field, it’s a heavily wooded area with some clearer spaces so lots of options for tying up. Firepits must be used, please collect from reception when you check in. Only 3 pitches have been allocateted with 2 adults & 2 children per pitch.

The Quad Squad!

We operate a kit delivery service with our farm buggy & trailer down to the camping field from 4pm to 7pm every Friday and doing the return trip from 10am to 12.30pm on Sunday morning. This is free and will operate on a first come first serve basis, to the entrance of the field where there will be trolleys for you to then do the short trip to wherever you want to go in the field, this also works for the Bell Tents, Encampment & Hammock areas, all a short walk from the drop off point in the camping field.

You can check availability below by putting your required dates in. If Tree Tent & Hammock pitches come up then they are available. If they do not that means they are already booked. All the normal rules around sound still apply in this area.
